Wycombe Wanderers snatched all three points from Reading in a narrow 1-0 victory on Tuesday, at Adams Park. Wycombe Wanderers were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Millwall in their previous game. Reading, on the other hand, were beaten 2-0 in the previous match against Middlesbrough. After today’s result, Wycombe Wanderers are in 24th place, with 23 points from 32 matches, while Reading sit in 5th, with 51 points from 32.

After a goalless first half, Wycombe Wanderers staged a comeback in the second half, beginning with early goal from Fred Onyedinma in the 49th minute, and the game ended 1-0.

For Wycombe Wanderers, Curtis Thompson, Jason McCarthy, Dominic Gape and Admiral Muskwe came on for Michael Olise, Ovie Ejaria and Tom Holmes, while Reading brought on George Puscas, Sam Baldock and Sone Aluko to replace Michael Olise, Ovie Ejaria and Tom Holmes.

The referee booked five players. Josh Knight and Garath McCleary from Wycombe Wanderers saw yellow cards and Ryan Tafazolli sent off with a red, as well as for Reading George Puscas and Tom McIntyre saw yellows.
