Watford eased past Wycombe Wanderers in a 2-0 victory on Wednesday at Vicarage Road. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. It was an impressive opening from Watford, beginning with a goal from Andre Gray, 14 minutes in, thereby seeing the first half to a 1-0.
Watford continued to apply pressure the second half and were rewarded, following another goal from Andre Gray, scoring his second goal in the 57th minute. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 2-0.
