United beat Southampton with a thumping 9-0 victory on Tuesday at Old Trafford. Manchester United were looking for a victory after a scoreless draw against Arsenal in their previous match. Southampton were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Aston Villa. As the table looks today, Manchester United are in 2nd place on the table and has 44 points while Southampton sit in 12th with 29 points after 22 matches.
