Swansea’s 3-1 win over Rotherham on Saturday, was hard fought at the Aesseal New York Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Swansea City, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Brentford. Swansea City dominated the first half, beginning with a goal from Conor Hourihane, 28 minutes in. Later, Swansea City scored again and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Matt Grimes, 38 minutes in. The score at half time was 2-0.
Rotherham United took the initiative in the second half, following a goal from Freddie Ladapo in the 65th minute. Swansea City extended the margin thanks to a goal from Jay Fulton, 74 minutes in to establish the 3-1 to hand victory to the visitors.
