This Thursday’s Europa League quarterfinals first leg between Arsenal and Prague, ended in a 1-1 a draw at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal had come from a victory against Olympiacos Piraeus; Prague, for their part, managed to beat Rangers. The Gunners will be disappointed to have not made the most of their home advantage at this Europa League fixture, so the tie will have to be decided in the return leg at Prague.

After a goalless first half, Arsenal fought back the second half, with a goal from Nicolas Pepe, 86 minutes in. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Tomas Holes equalised for Prague just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

For Arsenal, Gabriel Martinelli, Mohamed Elneny, Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Dani Ceballos, came on for Jakub Hromada, Abdallah Sima, Oscar Dorley, Nicolae Stanciu and Peter Olayinka. Prague brought on Petr Sevcik, Jan Kuchta, Ondrej Lingr, Lukas Masopust and Ibrahim Benjamin Traore, to replace Jakub Hromada, Abdallah Sima, Oscar Dorley, Nicolae Stanciu and Peter Olayinka.

The referee booked one player from Prague, David Zima.

Arsenal will now travel to play Prague on 15 April, to decide who will advance to the next stage.
