On Saturday, Frosinone suffer an away defeat to Pordenone. POR were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 to Cremonese. FRO had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Cittadella. As it stands, POR and FRO currently occupy 9th and 7th spots in the table, with 41 points and 40 points respectively after 34 matches.
POR dominated the first half, with Ciurria finding the net at the 19 minute mark. POR then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a second effort from Ciurria at the 22 minute mark, finalising the first half 2-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 2-0.
For POR, Magnino, Butic, Vogliacco and Kevin Biondi, came on for Caló, Musiolik, Misuraca and Ciurria. FRO replaced Tribuzzi, Millico, Novakovich, Parzyszek and Brignola with Carraro, Ciano, Rohden, Iemmello and Salvi.
There were bookings for Misuraca, Caló and Musiolik from POR. For FRO, Rohden, Salvi, Parzyszek, Brignola and Tribuzzi saw yellow.
POR will next play Reggiana away, with FRO facing Pisa at home.
