Reggiana on away loss to PES at Stadio Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia on Tuesday. PES were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 3-0 to Nuova Cosenza. Reggiana, on the other hand, had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 1-0 victory against Pordenone. After today’s result, PES are in 19th place, with 32 points from 36 matches, while Reggiana sit in 18th, with 34 points from 36.

PES started the first half well, thanks to a goal from Capone, 8 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-0.

For PES, Masciangelo, Giannetti, Ceter and Sørensen, came on for Vokic, Odgaard, Capone and Mardochee Nzita. Reggiana brought on Zampano, Nicolò Cambiaghi, Lunetta, Pezzella and Ardemagni, to replace Siligardi, Laribi, Gyamfi, Varone and Kirwan.

There were bookings for Valdifiori, Odgaard, Volta and Pepin from PES. For Reggiana, Gyamfi saw yellow.

PES will next travel to Cremonese, while Reggiana will face SPAL at home.
