Nuova Cosenza snatched all three points from Pescara in a 3-0 victory on Saturday, at Stadio San Vito. NUO arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 3-0 to Pisa. PES had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Virtus Entella. As it stands, NUO and PES are 17th, (35 points) and 19th, (29 points), in the league respectively, after 35 matches.

NUO dominated the first half, with Tremolada opening the rout early in the first half. NUO looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Carretta in the 8th minute to establish a 2-0. NUO then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a second effort from Tremolada, on 31 minutes, finalising the first half 3-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 3-0.

For NUO, Trotta, Sueva, Tiritiello, Ingrosso and Bouah, came on for Tremolada, Gliozzi, Carretta, Kone and Antzoulas. PES replaced Maistro, Volta, Galano, Ceter and Marco D’aloia with Rigoni, Sørensen, Odgaard, Maistro and Giannetti.

The referee booked Bellanova and Sørensen for PES.

NUO will next travel to Empoli, while PES will face Reggiana at home.
