Frosinone 1-1 Vicenza – Victory beyond reach for FRO, as they only manage a 1-1 draw with VIC

FRO were held to 1-1 draw by VIC down on Friday at stadio Benito Stirpe. FRO were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches in the league. The most recent was against the SPAL away (1-0), the other to Pisa at home (3-1). VIC had lost their previous match against Brecia Calcio. As it stands, FRO and VIC currently occupy 12th and 14th spots in the league, with 47 points and 45 points respectively after 37 matches.

Following a goalless first half, VIC took the initiative in the second half, with Vandeputte finding the net, on 74 minutes. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Brignola equalised for FRO in the 76th minute. The final result, FRO 1, VIC 1.

For FRO, Ciano, Brignola, Tribuzzi, Novakovich and Vitale, came on for Parzyszek, Capuano, Rohden, Szyminski and Iemmello. VIC replaced Cinelli, Lamin Jallow, Barlocco, Lanzafame and Pontisso with Zonta, Nalini, Beruatto, Lamin Jallow and Rigoni.

There were bookings for Kastanos from FRO, and Pasini and Lamin Jallow, for VIC.

FRO will next travel to Reggina, while VIC will face Reggiana at home.
