Virtus Entella on away loss to CTT at Stadio Pier Cesare Tombolato on Tuesday. CTT were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Lecce away and Chievo at home, by 3-1 and 1-0 respectively while ACD were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Vicenza. Following today’s result, CTT and ACD currently occupy 6th and 20th spots in the league, with 56 points and 23 points respectively after 36 matches.
After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on CTT who started the second half well, thanks to an early calamitous own goal from Bonini in the 49th minute, leaving the final score at 1-0.
For CTT, Tsadjout, Vita, Proia, Rosafio and Iori, came on for Baldini, Beretta, D’urso, Gargiulo and Ogunseye. ACD brought on Brescianini, Mancosu, Andreis, Marcucci and Villa for Paolucci, Lorenzo Meazzi, Settembrini, Schenetti and Rodríguez.
The referee booked Gargiulo from CTT. ACD had the worst of it though, with Pavic seeing yellow, and Pavic (2 yellow cards) then sent off with a red.
CTT will next play Ascoli away, with ACD facing Chievo at home.
