Como snatched all three points from Brecia Calcio in a 4-2 victory on Sunday, at Stadio Mario Rigamonti. Brescia were looking to pick up points, following a 3-2 victory against Ascoli while Como had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Benevento. As it stands, Brescia are in 3rd place on the table and has 14 points while Como sit in 16th with 6 points after 7 matches.
The first half of the game started well for Como, thanks to Cerri finding the net, at 14 minutes. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Palacio managed to equalize and take the sides off in the 45th minute at 1-1. However, Como just before half-time found the back of the net via a La Gumina goal. The first half ended 1-2.
Brescia took the initiative in the second half, with Bajić finding the net, 84 minutes in. However, each side looked hungry to win and Como then found the back of the net, at 89 minutes thanks to Bellemo, taking the score to 3-2. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a penalty goal from Gliozzi just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-2.
For Brescia, Giacomo Olzer, Aye, Ndoj, Bajić and Karacic, came on for Jagiello, Bertagnoli, Tramoni, Moreo and Mateju. Como brought on Ioannou, Chajia, Gliozzi and Solini, to replace Parigini, La Gumina, Cerri and Varnier.
The referee booked Palacio and Karacic from Brescia and Karacic (2 yellow cards) went off with a red card, while Como’s Varnier and La Gumina also received a yellow.
Brescia will play their next game away against Perugia, while Como will face US Alessandria at home.
