Inter delivered a resounding 2-0 victory against Fiorentina on Friday, at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Fiorentina wanted to improve their league standing after a 1-1 draw against Torino. Internazionale, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 4-0 win against Benevento in their last match. After today’s result, Fiorentina and Internazionale sit 12th, (22 points) and 1st, (47 points), in the table respectively, after 21 matches.
It was an impressive opening from Internazionale, thanks to Nicolo Barella opening the scoring in the 31st minute to see out the first half 1-0.
The second half started favourably for Internazionale, following a goal from Ivan Perisic in minute 52 to hand victory to the visitors.
