Juve snatched all three points from Roma in a 2-0 victory on Saturday, at the Allianz Stadium. Both Juventus and Roma arrived on the back of wins. Juventus were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two games against Sampdoria away and Bologna at home, by 2-0 and 2-0 respectively whilst Roma were coming from consecutive wins against Hellas Verona and Spezia Calcio. As the table looks today, Juventus are in 3rd place, with 42 points from 21 matches, while Roma sit in 4th, with 40 points from 21.
Juventus started the first half well, with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 13th minute, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.
Juventus continued to apply pressure the second half and were rewarded, following Roger Ibanez opening the scoring, 69 minutes in, which sealed the victory for Juventus.
