Udinese 0 – Fiorentina 1- The Purple One travel to the Stadio Friuli and seal win

Udinese on Sunday lost to Fiorentina on a home defeat at the Stadio Friuli. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Udinese were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Roma. Fiorentina lost 3-1 in the last match they played against Internazionale. As the table looks today, Udinese are in 13th place, with 7 points from 6 matches, while Fiorentina sit in 5th, with 12 points from 6.

Fiorentina found the net first, thanks to a goal from Dusan Vlahovic, 16 minutes in, to take a 0-1 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

For Udinese, Jean-Victor Makengo, Ignacio Pussetto, Iyenoma Destiny Udogie, Nahuel Molina and Lazar Samardzic, came on for Tolgay Arslan, Brandon Soppy, Bram Nuytinck, Jens Stryger Larsen and Walace. Fiorentina brought on Aleksa Terzic, Sofyan Amrabat, Matija Nastasic, Youssef Maleh and Igor, to replace Cristiano Biraghi, Giacomo Bonaventura, Lucas Martinez, Alfred Duncan and Lucas Torreira.

There were bookings for Tolgay Arslan and Walace from Udinese, and Lucas Martinez, Sofyan Amrabat and Alvaro Odriozola, for Fiorentina.

Udinese will next travel to Sampdoria, while Fiorentina will face Napoli at home.
