Hellas Verona fell to an away defeat at the hands of Udinese at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday. Udinese were looking to pick up points, following a 1-0 victory against Spezia Calcio. Hellas Verona were beaten 3-1 in the previous match against Roma. As the table looks today, Udinese and Hellas Verona sit 11th, (24 points) and 9th, (30 points), spots respectively, after 21 matches.
After an uneventful first half, Udinese continued to pile on the pressure the second half and were rewarded, beginning with Marco Silvestri opening the scoring, 83 minutes in. Later, Udinese scored again and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Gerard Deulofeu in the 90th minute just before the final whistle, and the game ended 2-0.
