Torino 1 – Lazio 1: Victory beyond reach for The Bull at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino

Torino were held to 1-1 draw by Lazio down on Thursday at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino. Torino were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Sassuolo away and Salernitana at home, by 1-0 and 4-0 respectively. Lazio, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As it stands, Torino are in 9th place on the table and has 7 points while Lazio sit in 7th with 8 points after 5 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Torino fought back the second half, with a goal from Marko Pjaca at the 76 minute mark. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Ciro Immobile equalised for Lazio just before the final whistle. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

For Torino, Sasa Lukic, Cristian Ansaldi, Marko Pjaca and Tomas Rincon, came on for Rolando Mandragora, Ola Aina, Josip Brekalo and Karol Linetty. Lazio brought on Pedro, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Manuel Lazzari, Lucas Leiva and Vedat Muriqi for Raul Moro, Luis Alberto, Adam Marusic, Danilo Cataldi and Jean Akpa.

There were bookings for Rolando Mandragora, Ola Aina and Josip Brekalo from Torino, and Adam Marusic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luiz Felipe, for Lazio.

Torino will play away against Venezia, while Lazio will face Roma at home.
