On Sunday, Benevento and Sampdoria were held to a 1-1 draw at Stadio Ciro Vigorito. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. After an uneventful first half, Benevento staged a comeback in the second half, beginning with a goal from Gianluca Caprari in the 55th minute. However, they didn’t maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Keita Balde in the 80th minute brought Sampdoria level, and the game ended 1-1.
