Sassuolo 1-3 Juventus: The Old Lady travel to The Black and Greens and secure victory

Reporting from beautiful, colorful city of Genoa, Adriano goes to the great lengths to make sure that no football fan remains uninformed about everything that happens in the best league of Italy.

Sassuolo on home loss to Juventus at the MAPEI Stadium on Wednesday. Sassuolo were looking to pick up points, following a 2-1 victory against Genoa while Juve had lost their previous match against AC Milan. At the moment, Sassuolo are currently 8th with 56 points from 36 matches, while Juve sit in 5th, with 72 points from 36.

The Old Lady dominated the first half, thanks to a goal from Adrien Rabiot in the 28th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Cristiano Ronaldo made it 2-0 just before half-time to secure a 0-2 win.

Sassuolo took the lead in the second half, with Giacomo Raspadori finding the net in the 59th minute. In the end though, Juve in the 66th minute increased their advantage following a Paulo Dybala goal, leaving the final score at 3-1.

For Sassuolo, Maxime Lopez, Gregoire Defrel, Vlad Chiriches, Rogerio and Filip Djuricic, came on for Pedro Obiang, Hamed Junior Traore, Jeremy Toljan, Giorgos Kyriakopoulos and Jeremie Boga. Juve brought on Rodrigo Bentancur, Juan Cuadrado and Weston McKennie, to replace Arthur, Federico Chiesa and Paulo Dybala.

There were bookings for Marlon from Sassuolo. For Juve, Danilo and Federico Chiesa saw yellow.

Sassuolo will next play Parma away, with Juve facing Internazionale at home.
