On Saturday, Sassuolo and Bologna were held to a 1-1 draw at the MAPEI Stadium. Sassuolo were looking to continue their run after winning last match. Bologna, on the other hand, secured a point against Benevento in their previous match. As it stands, Sassuolo and Bologna are 8th, (35 points) and 12th, (25 points), in the table respectively, after 23 matches.
Bologna started strong and were rewarded, following Roberto Soriano opening the scoring, 17 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.
The second half started favourably for Sassuolo, thanks to Francesco Caputo opening the scoring in minute 52, and the game ended 1-1.
