Lazio beat Spezia Calcio with a thumping 6-1 victory on Saturday at the Stadio Olympico. Lazio were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning last match. Spezia started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Daniele Verde in the 4th minute. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Ciro Immobile 5 minutes into the game, brought The White and Sky Blues level. Lazio looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a effort from Ciro Immobile at the 15 minute mark to establish a 2-1. The momentum was now with Lazio, who then scored again through a hat trick effort from Ciro Immobile, at 45 minutes to establish a 3-1. However they weren’t finished yet and Felipe Anderson made it 4-1 just before half-time, which saw the first half end 4-1.
Lazio continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Elseid Hysaj finding the net in the 70th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Luis Alberto just before the final whistle to make it 6-1.
