Inter 5 – Udinese 1: Nerazzurri prevail in a 5 goal thriller at home

Internazionale secures a 5-1 victory against Udinese at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Inter were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 3-2 to Juventus. Udinese, on the other hand, were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Sampdoria. This left, Inter are in 1st place on the table and has 91 points while Udinese sit in 14th with 40 points after 38 matches.

Inter scored first, with Ashley Young opening the rout, 8 minutes in. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Christian Eriksen just before half-time and the first half ended 2-0.

Nerazzurri started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with a goal from Lautaro Martinez in the 55th minute. The momentum was now with Inter, who then scored again through a goal from Ivan Perisic, 64 minutes in to establish a 4-0. In the end though, Bianconeri secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Roberto Pereyra, 79 minutes in and seeing the game end 5-1.
