Genoa enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Crotone at Stadio Ezio Scida on Sunday. Crotone were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 to Fiorentina. Genoa, on the other hand, were coming from a 1-0 win against Cagliari Calcio. As it stands, Crotone are in 20th place on the table and has 12 points while Genoa sit in 14th with 21 points after 20 matches.

Genoa started strong and were rewarded, with Mattia Destro opening the rout in the 24th minute. Later, Genoa took the lead with a goal form a goal from Lennart Czyborra in the 29th minute, thereby seeing the first half to a 2-0.

Genoa staged a comeback in the second half, with early goal from Mattia Destro, scoring his second goal in the 50th minute to hand victory to the visitors.

For Crotone Andrea Rispoli, Emmanuel Riviere, Eduardo Henrique and Koffi Djidji came on for Pedro Pereira, Samuel Di Carmine, Niccolo Zanellato and Lisandro Magallan, while Genoa brought on Marko Pjaca, Filippo Melegoni, Goran Pandev, Paolo Ghiglione and Valon Behrami to replace Eldor Shomurodov, Miha Zajc, Mattia Destro, Davide Zappacosta and Kevin Strootman.

There were bookings for Junior Messias, Eduardo Henrique and Arkadiusz Reca from Crotone and Kevin Strootman for Genoa.

Crotone will next travel to AC Milan, while Genoa will face Napoli at home.
