Reporting from beautiful, colorful city of Genoa, Adriano goes to the great lengths to make sure that no football fan remains uninformed about everything that happens in the best league of Italy.

Genoa snatched all three points from Bologna in a 2-0 victory on Wednesday, at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Bologna arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a 1-1 draw against Udinese. Genoa, on the other hand, were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Sassuolo. Following today’s result, Bologna and Genoa are 11th, (40 points) and 14th, (39 points), in the league respectively, after 36 matches.

The Griffin started the game well, thanks to a goal from Davide Zappacosta in the 13th minute to see out the first half 0-1.

Genoa continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Gianluca Scamacca at the 61 minute mark. The game ended with a 2-0 victory for the visitors.

For Bologna, Andreas Olsen, Emanuel Vignato, Nicola Sansone, Kacper Urbanski and Wisdom Amey, came on for Mitchell Dijks, Riccardo Orsolini, Mattias Svanberg, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Roberto Soriano. Genoa brought on Nicolo Rovella, Miha Zajc, Ivan Radovanovic, Marko Pjaca and Francesco Cassata, to replace Milan Badelj, Valon Behrami, Goran Pandev, Gianluca Scamacca and Kevin Strootman.

There were bookings for Jerdy Schouten from Bologna, and Cristian Zapata, Eldor Shomurodov and Nicolo Rovella, for Genoa.

Bologna will play their next fixture away against Hellas Verona, while Genoa will face Atalanta at home.
