As things stand, Real Valladolid are in 17th place, with 18 points from 18 matches, while Valencia sit in 14th, with 19 points from 18.

After an uneventful first half, Valencia continued to apply pressure the second half and were rewarded, thanks to Carlos Soler opening the scoring in the 76th minute. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 0-1.

For Real Valladolid Pablo Hervias, Oscar Plano, Fabian Orellana, Ruben Alcaraz and Sergi Guardiola came on for Kike Perez, Toni Villa, Luis Perez, Roque Mesa and Jota, while Valencia brought on Manu Vallejo, Yunus Musah and Lato Toni to replace Kang In Lee, Daniel Wass and Denis Cheryshev.
