Millwall snatched all three points from Reading in a 2-1 victory on Saturday, at the Madejski Stadium. Reading were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Stoke City in their previous game. Millwall were looking to extend their winning run after a 4-1 victory against Sheffield Wednesday. Reading started well with, thanks to Alfa Semedo opening the scoring, 18 minutes in, finalising the first half with a 1-0.
Millwall continued to pile on the pressure the second half and were rewarded, following Matt Smith opening the scoring, 76 minutes in. Later, Millwall scored again and turned the match thanks to a goal from Mason Bennett in the 85th minute just before the final whistle, sealing a resounding 2-1 victory for the away side.
