Queens Park Rangers suffer defeat against Swansea City

Swansea’s 0-2 win over QPR on Saturday, was hard fought at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Queens Park Rangers arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a 1-1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers. Swansea City were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-0 victory against Barnsley. As the table looks today, Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City currently occupy 19th and 2nd spots in the league, with 20 points and 39 points respectively after 21 matches.

Swansea City started strong and were rewarded, beginning with a goal from Andre Ayew just before half-time and managed to see out the first half 0-1.

Swansea City started the second half on an intensified spirit, thanks to Jamal Lowe opening the scoring in the 54th minute. The game ended with a 0-2 victory for Swansea City.

For Queens Park Rangers Bright Osayi-Samuel, Charlie Kelman, Chris Willock and Albert Adomah came on for Niko Hamalainen, Macauley Bonne, Tom Carroll and Todd Kane, while Swansea brought on Korey Smith to replace Yan Dhanda.

There were bookings for Dominic Ball from QPR and Yan Dhanda for Swansea.

Queens Park Rangers will next travel to Norwich City, while Swansea City will face Reading at home.
