On Saturday, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham were held to a 2-2 draw at The Hawthorns. West Bromwich Albion were looking to get back winning ways after losing 5-0 to Manchester City in their last match. Fulham had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion. At the moment, West Bromwich Albion are in 19th place, with 12 points from 21 matches, while Fulham sit in 18th, with 14 points from 21.

Fulham started strongly in the first half, following Bobby Reid opening the scoring, 10 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, with an equalizer from a Kyle Bartley just before half-time brought West Bromwich Albion level and the first half ended 1-1.

West Bromwich Albion took the lead in the second half, beginning with a goal from Matheus Pereira, 66 minutes in. However, they didn’t maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Ivan Cavaleiro in the 77th minute brought Fulham level, levelled the score at 2-2 draw.

Both teams used all their substitutes. For West Bromwich Albion Karlan Ahearne-Grant, Mbaye Diagne and Matt Phillips came on for Dara O’Shea, Callum Robinson and Jake Livermore, while Fulham brought on Harrison Reed, Ivan Cavaleiro and Kenny Tete to replace Bobby Reid, Mario Lemina and Ola Aina.

The referee booked Kyle Bartley for West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion will next play Sheffield United away, with Fulham facing Leicester City at home.
