Wolverhampton Wanderers eased past Watford in a 2-0 victory on Saturday at Vicarage Road. Both sides arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Watford were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Wolves lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Manchester United. After today’s result, both teams are on 3 points and sit in 15th and 13th places respectively after 4 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Wolves continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Francisco Sierralta at the 74 minute mark. Wolves then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Hee-chan Hwang at the 83 minute mark with a final score of 2-0.

For Watford, Cucho Hernandez and Ken Sema, came on for Joshua King and Oghenekaro Etebo. Wolves brought on Hee-chan Hwang and Daniel Podence, to replace Trincao and Adama Traore.

There were bookings for Oghenekaro Etebo, Danny Rose and Emmanuel Dennis from Watford, and Fernando Marcal, Raul Jimenez and Max Kilman, for Wolves.

Watford will next play Norwich City away, with Wolves facing Brentford at home.
