Norwich were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 5-0 to Manchester City. Leicester, on the other hand, lost 4-1 in the last match they played against West Ham United. Leicester dominated the first half, thanks to Jamie Vardy giving The Foxes the lead at the 8 minute mark. However, their lead was short lived, as Teemu Pukki equalised for Norwich just before half-time, which brought Daniel Farke’s squad level at 1-1 at the half time break
The Foxes continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Marc Albrighton giving Leicester the lead, 76 minutes in and seeing the game end 2-1.
Both teams used all available substitutes. For Norwich, Josh Sargent, Lukas Rupp and Adam Idah, came on for Teemu Pukki, Pierre Lees-Melou and Billy Gilmour, Leicester brought on Timothy Castagne, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to replace Ricardo Pereira, Harvey Barnes and James Maddison.
There were bookings for Pierre Lees-Melou and Todd Cantwell from Norwich. For Leicester, Marc Albrighton saw yellow.
