Nantes’ 2-0 win over FC Metz on Sunday, was hard fought at the Stade de la Beaujoire. Nantes were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Lyon whilst Metz were unable to beat Clermont Foot in a 2-2 draw. As the table looks today, Nantes are in 12th place, with 4 points from 2 matches, while Metz sit in 15th, with 3 points from 2.

Nantes started the game well, thanks to Randal Kolo Muani giving The Yellow House the lead in the 12th minute. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0.

Nantes started the second half with an intensified spirit, with an early goal from Ludovic Blas in the 49th minute. The game ended 2-0.

For Nantes, Roli Pereira De Sa, Sebastien Corchia, Marcus Coco and Charles Traore, came on for Renaud Emond, Fabio, Randal Kolo Muani and Ludovic Blas. Metz replaced Kevin N`Doram, Habib Maiga, Amine Bassi, Pape Matar Sarr and Thomas Delaine for Sofiane Alakouch, Boubacar Traore, Vagner, Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly and Pape Ndiaga Yade.

The referee booked Ludovic Blas and Marcus Coco for Nantes.

Nantes next face Nice and Metz are at home to Troyes.
