Man U on home loss to Leicester City at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Man U were looking to pick up points, following a 3-1 victory against Aston Villa. Leicester lost 4-2 in the last match they played against Newcastle United. After today’s result, Man U and Leicester currently occupy 2nd and 3rd spots in the table, with 70 points and 66 points respectively after 36 matches.

Leicester dominated the first half, with Luke Thomas finding the net at the 10 minute mark. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Mason Greenwood equalised for Man U, 15 minutes in, finalising the first half 1-1.

The Foxes continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Caglar Soyuncu finding the net in the 66th minute, leaving the final score at 2-1.

For Man U, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and Bruno Fernandes, came on for Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Amad Traore. Leicester brought on James Maddison and Hamza Choudhury, to replace Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy.

Man U will play their next fixture at home against Fulham, while Leicester will face Chelsea away.
