Wolverhampton Wanderers strolled past Fulham with a 1-0 win on Friday at Craven Cottage. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Fulham arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur. Wolves were beaten 3-2 in the previous match against West Ham. As it stands, Fulham and Wolves are 18th, (26 points) and 12th, (38 points), in the table respectively, after 31 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Wolves continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Adama Traore just before the final whistle so at full time it was 1-0 to Wolves.
Fulham brought on Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Josh Maja and Ivan Cavaleiro for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Harrison Reed and Ola Aina. Wolves brought on Joao Moutinho, Morgan Gibbs-White and Fabio Silva, to replace Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence and Willian Jose.
Fulham will next travel to Chelsea, while Wolves will face Sheffield United at home.
