Nottingham Forest were held to 0-0 draw by Birmingham City down on Saturday at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Millwall in their previous game. Birmingham City were beaten 1-4 in the previous match against Middlesbrough. After today’s result, Nottingham Forest are in 20th place, with 18 points from 21 matches, while Birmingham City sit in 17th, with 23 points from 21.

For Nottingham Forest Anthony Knockaert, Lyle Taylor and Joe Lolley came on for Sammy Ameobi, Samba Sow and Alexander Mighten, while Birmingham replaced Gary Gardner and Lukas Jutkiewicz with Alen Halilovic and Scott Hogan.

There were bookings for Yuri Ribeiro, Lewis Grabban and Ryan Yates from Nottingham and Harlee Dean and Maxime Colin for Birmingham.

Nottingham Forest will next travel to Stoke City, while Birmingham City will face Derby County at home.
