Norwich defeat Stoke City 4-1 on Saturday at Carrow Road. Norwich City were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Swansea City. Stoke City had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Reading. As things stand, Norwich City and Stoke City currently occupy 1st and 10th spots in the table, with 58 points and 39 points respectively after 29 matches.

Norwich City scored first, with Todd Cantwell opening the rout in the 15th minute. Later, Norwich City took the lead with a goal form a goal from Teemu Pukki in the 45th minute just before half-time. The score at half time was 2-0.

Stoke City took the lead in the second half, with Nick Powell opening the scoring in the 61st minute. Norwich City increased their lead thanks to a goal from Emiliano Buendia after 65 minutes to establish the 3-1. Later, Norwich City took the lead with a goal form another goal from Teemu Pukki, scoring his second goal in the 80th minute, which sealed the victory for Norwich City.

For Norwich City Lukas Rupp, Jakob Lungi Sorensen, Onel Hernandez, Adam Idah and Kieran Dowell came on for Mario Vrancic, Oliver Skipp, Todd Cantwell, Teemu Pukki and Emiliano Buendia, while Stoke City brought on Rabbi Matondo, James McClean, Sam Vokes, Jordan Cousins and Jordan Thompson to replace Jack Clarke, John Mikel Obi, Steven Fletcher, Sam Clucas and Joe Allen.

The referee booked Nick Powell and John Mikel Obi for Stoke City.

Norwich City will next play Coventry City away, with Stoke City facing Sheffield Wednesday at home.
