Vancouver Whitecaps 1-1 Seattle Sounders: Hosts Held By Spirited Sounders

Caps could only manage a 1-1 draw against Seattle in the last game of the Major League Soccer season. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the Major League Soccer season, Caps and Seattle are 5th (49 points) and 2nd (60 points) in the league respectively, after a total of 46 matches.

Seattle started strongly in the first half, thanks to Montero finding the net, at 8 minutes. However, their lead was short lived, as Gauld equalised for Caps at the 20 minute mark to see out the first half 1-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-1.

For Caps, Bikel and Bruno Gaspar, came on for Dájome and Brown. Seattle replaced Morris, Leyva and Leo Chú with Atencio, Smith and Rowe.

The referee booked Tolo, Gómez and Leyva for Seattle.
