Vancouver Whitecaps strolled past Los Angeles FC with a 2-1 win on Sunday at BC Place Stadium. As the table looks today, both teams are on 23 points and sit in 10th and 9th places respectively after 28 matches.

It was an impressive opening from The Black and Gold, with Rossi giving Los Angeles the lead just before half-time, finishing the first half 0-1.

Caps continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Brian White finding the net in the 60th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Gauld just before the final whistle to make it 2-1.

For Caps, Gauld, Baldisimo, Ricketts and Raposo, came on for Owusu, Teibert, Brian White and Caicedo. Los Angeles brought on Arango, Edwards and Cal Jennings, to replace Vela, Farfan and Blessing.
