Vancouver Whitecaps beat LA Galaxy with a thumping 2-1 victory on Sunday at BC Place Stadium. As the table looks today, Caps are in 13th place on the table and has 12 points while Galaxy sit in 3rd with 24 points after 18 matches.
Galaxy started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with an early goal from Raveloson in the 5th minute, finalising the first half 0-1.
The Village started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, thanks to an early goal from Caicedo in the 48th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Dájome, 78 minutes in with a final score of 2-1.
For Caps, Caio Alexandre, Ricketts and Raposo, came on for Baldisimo, Brian White and Caicedo. Galaxy brought on Williams, Saldana, Steres and Aguirre, to replace Zubak, Raveloson, Klještan and Grandsir.
There were bookings for Baldisimo from Caps. For Galaxy, Williams saw yellow.
