Caps 1 – Dallas 0: One goal makes difference for The Village at home

Vancouver Whitecaps defeat FC Dallas 1-0 on Sunday at BC Place Stadium. As the table looks today, Caps are in 9th place on the table and has 33 points while Dallas sit in 11th with 27 points after 35 matches.

Caps started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to a goal from Brian White in the 20th minute, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

For Caps, Brown, Caicedo, Metcalfe, Ricketts and Bikel, came on for Bruno Gaspar, Cavallini, Dájome, Brian White and Owusu. Dallas brought on Schön, Martínez, Ricaurte and Jara, to replace Pomykal, Che, Quignon and Twumasi.

There were bookings for Bruno Gaspar and Cavallini from Caps. For Dallas, Hedges, Twumasi and Acosta saw yellow.
