Caps 1 – Galaxy 2- Galaxy leave BC Place Stadium with all 3 points

LA Galaxy snatched all three points from Vancouver Whitecaps in a 2-1 victory on Thursday, at BC Place Stadium. As the table looks today, Caps are in 13th place, with 7 points from 13 matches, while Galaxy sit in 3rd, with 18 points from 13.

Galaxy started the game well, with a goal from Chicharito just before half-time. The score at half time was 0-1.

Caps took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Bikel in the 90th minute. Galaxy in turn, then responded just before the final whistle increasing their lead with an effort from Alvarez so at full time it was 2-1 to Galaxy.

For Caps, Caio Alexandre, Caicedo, Raposo and Owusu, came on for Brown, Teibert, Brian White and Baldisimo. Galaxy brought on Alvarez, Dos Santos, Fisher, Saldana and Dunbar, to replace Cabral, Klještan, Villafaña, Víctor Vázquez and Grandsir.

There were bookings for Godoy from Caps, and Nick Depuy, for Galaxy.

Next up, Caps are away to Seattle Sounders, whilst Galaxy will travel to face San Jose.
