Toronto FC snatched all three points from Columbus Crew in a 2-0 victory on Thursday, at BMO Field. As it stands, Toronto FC and Columbus Crew currently occupy 11th and 8th spots in the league, with 4 points and 5 points respectively after 6 matches.

Toronto FC started the first half well, thanks to Bradley finding the net at the 13 minute mark, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

Toronto FC continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Altidore just before the final whistle. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 2-0.

For Toronto FC, Altidore, Mullins, Lawrence and Endoh, came on for Akinola, Deleon, Soteldo and Priso-Mbongue. Columbus Crew brought on Keita, Afful, Wright-Phillips and Miguel Berry, to replace Francis, Abdul-Salaam, Matan and Zelarayán.

There were bookings for Delgado, Bono and Altidore from Toronto FC. For Columbus Crew, Keita and Mensah saw yellow.
