Kansas 4 – Houston 2: Points secure for Wizards at Children’s Mercy Park

Houston Dynamo on away loss to Kansas at Children’s Mercy Park on Sunday. Following today’s result, Kansas are in 1st place on the table and has 52 points while Houston sit in 12th with 27 points after 37 matches.

Wizards started strongly in the first half, thanks to Russell finding the net, at 16 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Salloi made it 2-0, 26 minutes in to secure a 2-0 win.

Orange Crush started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with Picault finding the net, at 51 minutes. However, Kansas increased their lead 3-1 thanks to a goal from Kinda at the 57 minute mark. However, Houston weren’t lying down and managed to pull back a goal from Quintero at the 76 minute mark. In the end though, Kansas just before the final whistle increased their advantage via another Russell goal. The game ended with a 4-2 win for Kansas.

For Kansas, Pulido, Duke and Espinoza, came on for Shelton, Walter and Kinda. Houston brought on Maxi Urruti, Corona, Pasher and Memo Rodríguez, to replace Junqua, Cerén, Baird and Vera.

There were bookings for Zusi from Kansas, and Junqua, Hadebe and Vera, for Houston.
