Sporting Kansas City – Vancouver Whitecaps – Kansas cruise past Caps, scoring 3 without reply at Children’s Mercy Park

Sporting Kansas City strolled past Vancouver Whitecaps with a 3-0 win on Sunday at Children’s Mercy Park. Following today’s result, Kansas are in 3rd place on the table and has 10 points while Caps sit in 8th with 7 points after 7 matches.

Kansas started strongly in the first half, with Salloi opening the rout in the 28th minute. Wizards then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Pulido, 31 minutes in to see out the first half 2-0.

Kansas continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Pulido finding the net again in the 58th minute. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 3-0.

For Kansas, Walter, Lindsey, Harris and Duke, came on for Kinda, Zusi, Espinoza and Pulido. Caps replaced Baldisimo, Habibullah, Brown, Godoy and Bair with Raposo, Caio Alexandre, Jakob Nerwinski, Veselinovic and Dájome.

There were bookings for Ilie, Kinda and Espinoza from Kansas. For Caps, Cornelius saw yellow.
