Seattle 2 – Caps 2- All even at CenturyLink Field against The Village

Seattle were held to 2-2 draw by Caps down on Sunday at CenturyLink Field. As the table looks today, Seattle and Caps currently occupy 1st and 12th spots in the table, with 25 points and 8 points respectively after 14 matches.

The Sounders started strongly in the first half, with Ruidíaz giving Seattle the lead just before half-time

The Village staged a comeback in the second half, thanks to an early goal from Dájome in the 49th minute. The momentum was now with Caps, who then scored again through a goal from Cavallini at the 55 minute mark to establish a 2-1. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Medranda equalised for Seattle in the 70th minute. The game ended wih a 2-2 draw.

For Seattle, Leyva, Montero, Medranda and Rowe, came on for Atencio, Bruin, Abdoulaye Cissoko and Roldan. Caps brought on Owusu, Veselinovic, Brian White and Raposo, to replace Rose, Caicedo, Dájome and Teibert.

The referee booked three players from Caps, Cavallini, Caio Alexandre and Crépeau.

Next up, Seattle are away to Colorado Rapids, whilst Caps will travel to face FC Dallas.
