San Jose 1 – Minnesota 1: Points shared at Avaya Stadium after draw

On Wednesday, San Jose and Minnesota were held to a 1-1 draw at Avaya Stadium. As it stands, San Jose are currently 8th with 23 points from 26 matches, while Minnesota sit in 5th, with 27 points from 26.

San Jose started the first half well, thanks to a goal from Dibassy at the 12 minute mark. However, their lead was short lived, as Trapp equalised for Minnesota in the 22nd minute. The score at half time was 1-1. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-1 at full time.

As for substitutions, for San Jose, Marie, Cowell, Fierro and Wondolowski, came on for Salinas, Espinoza, Abecasis and Remedi, Minnesota brought on McMaster and Agudelo, to replace Gregus and Hunou.

The referee booked four players. López from San Jose, who saw yellow cards and Nathan Pelae, sent off with a red, as well as for Minnesota j and Dibassy received yellows.

San Jose will play their next fixture away against LA Galaxy, while Minnesota will face Sporting Kansas City at home.
