RSL 1 – Seattle 0- Claret and Cobalt get hard fought win over The Sounders

Seattle Sounders on away loss to RSL at Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday. Following today’s result, RSL are in 5th place, with 36 points from 34 matches, while Seattle sit in 2nd, with 45 points from 34.

After an un-eventful first half, Claret and Cobalt certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, thanks to an early goal from Kreilach in the 48th minute. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to RSL.

For RSL, Powder, Julio and Chang, came on for Meram, Méndez and Herrera. Seattle brought on Rowe, Gómez, Montero, Medranda and Bruin, to replace Roldan, Roldan, Smith, Abdoulaye Cissoko and Leyva.

There were bookings for Everton, Kreilach, Herrera and Julio from RSL, and Abdoulaye Cissoko, for Seattle.
