RSL 0 – Los Angeles 1: The Black and Gold travel to Rio Tinto Stadium and get victory

Los Angeles FC strolled past Real Salt Lake with a 1-0 win on Sunday at Rio Tinto Stadium. Following today’s result, RSL are currently 8th with 13 points from 15 matches, while Los Angeles sit in 5th, with 15 points from 15.

After an un-eventful first half,

Los Angeles continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Cifuentes giving The Black and Gold the lead at the 70 minute mark, leaving the final score at 1-0.

For RSL, Wood and Meram, came on for Nick Besler and Chang. Los Angeles brought on Cifuentes, Edwards and Cal Jennings, to replace Kaye, Baird and Rossi.

There were bookings for Brody, Kreilach and Glad from RSL, and Baird and Rossi, for Los Angeles.

Los Angeles and RSL will next play away to Austin and Vancouver Whitecaps respectively.
