Union 1 – Nashville 0: Home fans rewarded with victory at Subaru Park

Philadelphia Union’s 1-0 win over Nashville SC on Sunday, was hard fought at Subaru Park. As it stands, both teams are on 49 points and sit in 3rd and 2nd places respectively after 42 matches.

Union started strongly in the first half, with a goal from Przybyłko in the 18th minute. The score at half time was 1-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

For Union, Aaronson and Findlay, came on for Gazdag and Jamiro Monteiro. Nashville brought on Sapong, Zimmerman, Danladi, Dylan Nealis and Cádiz, to replace Ríos, Maher, Aké Loba, Washington and Leal.

There were bookings for Przybyłko, Glesnes and Jamiro Monteiro from Union. For Nashville, Aké Loba, Godoy and Dylan Nealis saw yellow.

Next up, Union are away to Toronto FC, whilst Nashville will travel to face Cincinnati.
