Union 1 – Atlanta 0: Visitors to Subaru Park leave with nothing

On Saturday, Atlanta United suffer an away defeat to Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park. After today’s result, Union and Atlanta sit 4th, (38 points) and 7th, (36 points), spots respectively, after 35 matches.

After a goalless first half, Union piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Przybyłko at the 71 minute mark, leaving the final score at 1-0.

For Union, Aaronson, Sullivan, Jack Mcglynn and Fontana, came on for Gazdag, Przybyłko, José Martinez and Santos. Atlanta brought on Conway, Mulraney, Wolff and Chol, to replace Moreno, George Bello, Campbell and Rossetto.

There were bookings for José Martinez from Union, and Moreno, for Atlanta.

Union will next play New York Red Bulls away, with Atlanta facing Inter Miami at home.
