Union started the first half well, thanks to Jamiro Monteiro finding the net at the 25 minute mark, finishing the first half 1-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
For Union, Santos, Real, Sullivan and Powell, came on for Burke, Jack Mcglynn, Bedoya and Mbaizo. Columbus brought on Zelarayán, Valenzuela, Francis and Parente, to replace Molino, Matan, Fraser and Etienne.
