Orlando City – Toronto FC: The Lions deliver decisive win at Exploria Stadium

Toronto FC fell to an away defeat at the hands of Orlando City at Exploria Stadium on Sunday. As the table looks today, Orlando are currently 2nd with 12 points from 8 matches, while Phili sit in 12th, with 5 points from 8.

Orlando dominated the first half, thanks to Akindele giving The Lions the lead, 12 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-0.

For Orlando, Perea, Michel, Joey Dezart and Alvarado, came on for Van De Water, Mueller, Pereyra and Akindele. Phili brought on Deleon, Akinola, Shaffelburg and Zavaleta, to replace Osorio, Altidore, Auro and González.

There were bookings for Akindele from Orlando. For Phili, Soteldo and Auro saw yellow.

Orlando next face New York Red Bulls and Phili are away to Columbus Crew.
